The images used on lizaiken.com have been carefully selected to ensure that they reflect the moment. whether this is landscape, people, wildlife especially birds in their natural habitat and Liz’s favourite capturing musicians at a live performance. Liz brings out in all her pictures a feeling of being captured in the moment, ensuring it is encapsulated in a picture that would adorn walls as an integral part of interior design.
Liz, whenever possible uses the available light available whether at the gig, a festival or in the jungle she only uses flash when all other options available to her have been exhausted. The photographs fall into two distinct categories, those that have received minimal (for example changing the format to black and white) and often no computer editing to enhance the shot these Liz believes truly reflect the performance, the live moment captured for ever through the medium of photography. The other photographs available have clearly been manipulated these are her artistic interpretation of the shot.
