The Untouchables

The Untouchables are champions of the raw blues, basing their sound
on the swinging soul of the great artists who recorded for Chess Records in the 50s.
With a string bass, a stripped down drum kit, a cranked guitar through a
hot valve amp and a wailing harp, they turn any venue into a rocking juke joint.
This is blues for dancing. If you love Louis Jordan,
Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and Hound Dog Taylor,
then you’ll love The Untouchables.

The band has played to packed houses at the Aint Nothin’ But club in Soho, ‘Round Midnight in Islington, Charlotte Street Blues and The Blues Kitchen in Camden as well as rocking other blues venues in London, Herts, Essex and all points south.
Last year they opened for Nine Below Zero and Dr Feelgood and headlined at the Wageningen Blues Festival in the Netherlands.
